My name is Philipp Höhnel and I'm a Concept Artist working at Ubisoft.
I studied design and illustration at the Computer Graphics Master Academy and learned through mentorships with fantastic artists such as master designer Peter Han, Star Wars/Lucasfilm Concept Artist Jama Jurabaev, Senior Concept Artist Raymond Tan, and more.
My specialties are visual development, scifi and space ship design, and designing in Virtual Reality. Before joining Ubisoft I have been Lead Artist and 3D modeller in an independent game studio as well as an illustrator for board game companies and book publishers
I've got a Bachelor's degree in Indology, I'm a Linux and general computer enthusiast, and love travelling. My workflow is a mixture of VR, 3D modelling and 2D painting, combining various approaches to quickly develop new ideas. If you want to know more (or just hang out) feel free to get in touch!
